Ich bin sicher diese "or else" Verhandlungstaktik wird den nötigen Goodwill erzeugen oder alternativ die EU in die Knie zwingen.

Our two most potent weapons are Brexit, bad negotiation and political insta - our three most potent weapons are Brexit, bad negotiation, political instability and denial of freedom - our four most potent weapons are Brexit, bad negotiation, political instability, denial of freedom of movement and the irish border question - dammit!

EU's Barnier Rejects Key Part of British Brexit Trade Plan
| In a blunt public critique of May’s plans, chief EU negotiator Michel Barnier said he will never accept her proposal for a new customs arrangement, which she saw as her best hope of reaching an accord that she can sell to a divided Parliament in London.
On July 12, May put forward a model under which the U.K. would collect the EU’s tariffs on goods entering the country, as part of a plan to keep trade with the bloc flowing freely after the split. But speaking at a press conference in Brussels on Thursday, Barnier said this would never be acceptable. | |
| The EU, however, wants May to take an even softer line than she already proposes. Barnier offered her a potentially inflammatory alternative: Stay inside the EU’s existing customs union. | |

| [Barnier] likes to carry a set of PowerPoint slides around, pulling them out of a brown folder to explain, say, the difference between how goods and services are treated under a free-trade deal, or the manner in which the E.U. screens okra and curry leaves at its borders. Barnier’s favorite slide is known as the “steps of doom.” It shows how each of the red lines that May laid out in her early months as Prime Minister is incompatible with the E.U.’s relationships with its nearest neighbors, whether they are the E.E.A. nations and Switzerland, which are in the single market; or Ukraine, which accepts the jurisdiction of the E.C.J. in certain sectors of its economy; or Turkey, which is part of the customs union. At the bottom of Barnier’s steps is a green tick, indicating Britain’s likely resting place, based on its current trajectory in the talks, alongside Canada and South Korea, which both have trade deals with the E.U. but are subject to none of its interlocking regulations. | |

£158bn loss per year
Trade agreement Brexit (outside the single market):

Soft Brexit (EEA & single market):

Army 'on standby' for 'no deal' Brexit disruption >
The armed forces are on standby to help dole out medicines, food and fuel to vulnerable communities if Britain crashes out of the European Union without a deal, it has emerged.
They should have put that on the side of the bus.
"Vote for our stupid plan and we'll need the army to hand out food and medicine like we're an island nation destroyed by a hurricane."
