Das ist mehr ne formale Geschichte, Finnland (und Schweden) haben jetzt ne Atommacht im Rücken, während bald der Nato-Beitritt läuft. Was konkret passieren würde, bei welchem Szenario auch immer, ist nicht festgeschrieben, nur dass es gegenseitige Unterstützung gibt.

Das doch voelliger Bloedsinn, die schrauben die Panzer doch nicht in 2 Wochen zusammen, das ganze Klump steht doch schon seit Jahren rum. Die coden doch nicht mit dem Feldmesser sehr spezielle Bauteile aus einer alten Waschmaschine und einem Haarfoen, es sei denn MacGyver ist an der Front.
Dann sieht's aber schlecht aus fuer die Ukraine.

Was heisst das?
Erstmal droht Russland inzwischen vermutlich sogar fürs Falschparken vorm Kreml mit einem Atomkrieg. Müssen die auch, weil die konventionellen Kräfte nicht mehr ganz sooo bedrohlich sind, seitdem die Ukraine die bemerkenswert erfolgreich bekämpft.
Bevor das also wird wie bei „Ritter der Kokosnuss“, da drohen die Kremlins lieber mit Kernwaffen, damit die überhaupt noch mit irgendwas drohen können, was halbwegs Eindruck machen könnte.
Machts allerdings nicht realistischer: Würde Russland solche Drohungen wahr machen, wäre das für Russland selber beim aktuellen Wechselkurs massiver blöder als für alle anderen, die würden da 1:10 selber vollgebombt werden und ein „Sieg“ wäre damit unmöglich.
Die haben natürlich andere Möglichkeiten, allen vorneweg Angriffe auf NATO-Lieferungen in der Ukraine selbst, Einsatz von Sabotagetrupps gegen Infrastruktur in der NATO und sowas, nur: Wie wir sehen, sehen wir nischt. Bereits lange vor dem Atomkrieg passiert derzeit nix.
Dass die jetzt in Moskau maximal angefressen sind von den Entwicklungen, okay, menschlich versteh ich das: Man putzt sich raus, holt die letzten Scheine vom Konto, um die Geldscheinklammer zu füllen, gelt die lichten Haare durch und vor der Disco merkt man dann, dass Sonntag ist und Putin, der olle Aufreisser, steht vor verschlossener Tür.
Prior proper planning prevents piss poor performance, muss Russland gerade auf die harte Tour lernen und jetzt will halt alles in die NATO, um sicher vor seinen Flirtversuchen zu sein.
Im Ergebnis sieht der Kreml so oder so einen Konflikt mit der NATO, das hat sich bisher nicht verändert und da werden auch neue Mitglieder der NATO wenig dran ändern und auch die Lieferungen werden da unseren verhinderten Casanovo wohl nicht zum sicheren Suizid animieren.
Wir erleben also lediglich eine neue Runde von „wir haben Atombomben, Atombomben haben wir, sag ich, WIR HABEN ATOMBOMBEN, IHR SÄCKE!“
Und da lächelt man einfach freundlich rüber: „wir auch“ und schon ist da die Luft raus.
Also kein Grund zur Sorge, das kommt inzwischen wöchentlich. Wenn die sowas nicht mehr rausblasen, DANN fange ich an, sehr, sehr aufmerksam hinzugucken, aber ausser heisser Luft ist da bisher nichts feststellbar. | |

1. Not much changing on the frontlines, Russia regrouping in Luhansk. Big intrigue in new ‘Chernobaivka’ - Bilohorivka locality where Russia attempted five times to cross the river losing 78 vehicles.
2. Two strikes on Kherson resulting in losses of several dozen Russian vehicles. New ship - Vsevolod Bobrov - preliminary data - it’s NOT sunk but seriously damaged. Russian advancement is losing breath, unable to conduct more strategic operations.
3. Mariupol - politicians are working, negotiations are increasing pace. No chance of a military resolution according to Ukraine’s General Staff. Ukraine asking everyone to not get involved in the fragile negotiations process.
4. Russia has nothing to respond to Finland and Sweden joining NATO with. Most allies including South Osetia are not keen on sending any more troops. All Russian armies are in Ukraine including those bordering Finland.
5. 'Great' results for Russia who aimed to stop NATO expansion to the east but ended up with no army and two bordering nations joining NATO. Soon only tactical movements and defence will remain.
6. Serious pushback regarding weapon supplies. Germany is putting breaks on their own deliveries. The constant phone calls between Scholz and Macron are concerning, added to their recent announcement that perhaps Ukraine should be offered some different form of EU membership.
7. Someone must be ‘closely working with Germany and France’. Russia says they are against Ukraine joining EU because doing so would result in the war ending. 6th sanction pack is slowed down by Hungary.

| | I have a friend in Kherson and the situation is incredibly bad. They said to me: “I am reading a lot of shit about Kherson, unfortunately it’s nothing compared to reality. It is much, much worse”
Ukrainians are facing a dire situation, which I’ll lay out in a short thread:
- Escape routes out of the city are blocked. My friend has attempted to get out several times - the last driver they were in contact with was captured and had their car destroyed.
- There are now many Russians in Kherson who arrived for the 9th May parade. Many of them now work at the market and sell Russian products. My friend says that when they go out now they don’t see familiar faces. Russians are arriving to replace Ukrainians and live in their homes.
- This sort of thing is going on all over Kherson.
For example, a story of a Russian person moving into an apartment block, becoming admin of the block and sending messages to residents about how they want Ukrainians to burn.
- There are checkpoints between Kherson and all other cities - the Russian army check all papers and search anyone who comes into the city.
People are forced to undress and show any tattoos, to check for any “pro-Western” or patriotic iconography.
Hearing this stuff from people on the ground is utterly horrific. Wider coverage of the war seems to have faded away in many media outlets, which means that people shrug their shoulders and probably assume everything is a bit better now. In Kherson, it is very much not the case. | |

| | There were Claims earlier today by Odessa Regional Officials that the Russian Logistics Ship the Vsevolod Bobrov was hit by Ukrainian Navy Anti-Ship Missiles off the Coast of Snake Island, so far there have been no evidence of this occurring such as Distress Signals or Pictures.
There is a possibility that this has in fact taken place though until Confirmation by U.S Intelligence or another form of Official Proof, I would take this with a Grain of Salt like the Sinking or the Russian Frigate Makarov. | |
