Two roads diverged in a wood and I - I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.
Robert Frost
An unjust peace is better than a just war.
Marcus Tullius Cicero
Only the dead have seen the end of the war.
Plato
Even if we are occupied with important things and even if we attain honor or fall into misfortune, still let us remember how good it once was here, when we were all together, united by a good and a kind feeling which made us perhaps better than we are.

A vial of hope and a vial of pain,
In the light they both looked the same.
Pourred them out on into the world,
On every boy and every girl.

"I will not buy this record, it is scratched."
Meanwhile, Aunt Martha, having taken a tramp in the woods, is lying in a ditch at the edge of town.

/e: Was mir noch einfällt... was hatte der Priester ohne Zunge in End of Days an der Wand stehen?

| „I've done something new for this fight. I've wrestled with an alligator, I've tussled with a whale, I did handcuff lightning, and threw thunder in jail. I'm bad. Last week I've murdered a rock, injured a stone and hospitalized a brick. I'm so mean I make medicine sick. Last night I cut the light off in my bedroom, hit the switch and was in bed before room was dark. I'm so fast man I can run through a hurricane and don't get wet. When George Foreman meets me he'll pay his debt. I can drown and drink the water and kill a dead tree, wait 'til you see Muhammad Ali.“ | |
