Eigentlich sogar noch um einiges beschissener, denn wenigstens nimmt die Schweiz nicht für sich in Anspruch Führungsnation in Europa zu sein im Gegensatz zu Deutschland/Frankreich.
Mal sehen wie lange man das die Bundesregierung herauszögern kann, aber es würde mir schon unheimlich gefallen wenn jetzt wirklich Leopard 2 (auch wenn es alte Versionen sind) in die Ukraine geliefert werden und vorher Himmel und Hölle in Bewegung gesetzt wurde um bloß keine (noch älteren) Leopard 1 bzw. Marder liefern zu müssen.

So der klassische russische Modus operandi
1. Wenn ihr xy macht, dann könnten furchbare Dinge passieren (latente Drohung mit Atomkrieg)
2. Westen entscheidet sich xy zu machen
3. Also ihr habt xy gemacht aber wir werden Gegenmaßnahmen ergreifen (etwas realistischere Drohungen wie z.B. Angriffe auf die Lieferungen/Gasembargo/etc.)
4. Es passiert wenig was über die bekannten Vorgehensweisen Russlands hinausgeht
5. Also das ihr xy gemacht habt ist ja eigentlich total unwichtig weil wir viel tollere Waffen haben/so unglaublich erfolgreich sind/es eh an der Lage nichts ändert
Jedes mal wieder, es ist absolut irre wie viel von Russlands Drohpotential im Rahmen des Ukrainekrieges einfach mal vollkommen vernichtet wird.

lel, im Tagi war letztens der Kommentar dass es der Deutschen Regierung evtl. gar nicht so unrecht ist wenn die Schweiz die Lieferung blockiert, dann kann man wenigstens mit dem Finger auf die Schweizer Regierung zeigen und sagen "die verhindern die Lieferung (welche wir eigentlich sowieso nicht unbedingt gerne liefern würden)"

First of all, both the People’s Militia of LPR, and the People’s Militia of DPR, if we take their composition as of 24 February, truly most of them have died in the first weeks, if not days of the war. They died exactly due to reasons I’ve been describing all these years, which are spoken about in the KCPN* report ... Poor training, poor equipment, shoddy supply and a shoddy quality of the most “imported” advisors, who systematically reduce the combat readiness of the troops rather than increasing it…
The only thing worse than defending with such a “background” is advancing. Which is exactly what was done. The vast majority of the people who are currently on the frontline in the infantry companies are the people who returned to service or got there for the first time after the 24 February, or as part of the February “mobilisation”. Most of our “old” infantry, those who had at least some service experience, who were at least one bit ready for what was coming, are already down in graves and hospitals. Currently, in the brigades of the people’s militia, companies the size of a squad are filled with “mobs”. These companies are commanded by sergeants, if not privates if we look at their ranks at the start of the special military operation.

I wanted to express something that’s been brewing in my head the past couple of days and culminated today in a fairly specific thought which came to my mind as I was skimming my usual bookmarks in search for fresh translation material to share with you. In the past week or so, I started sensing a certain change in the moods of comms I’m reading in various Russian sources, most of which are very close to the frontline, many being separatist militias, others – regular Russian war correspondents, rest – external observes with certain experience or involvement in the conflict.
It is as if the Russians (those with a bit of a brain, not the TV-watching “Z”ombies) are beginning to realise what sort of a shithole they got themselves into now that so little has been achieved by one of the strongest armies in the world, and so much has already been lost, mainly in terms of human casualties. The Donbas, the very claimed core of this struggle, is not just not “liberated”, it in fact remains under constant “threat”, and the special operation arguably made things much worse than before 24 February – opposite of the effect it was meant to have.
Truths of various degrees of severity and pain are finding their way through the tracks the surface. They are getting louder, but unlike in the early days in February, March, perhaps even April and May, where one would listen to doom analyses of Girkin-Strelkov thinking the man has rats running a party in the attic, now the personal attacks on him increased which he acknowledges almost on a daily basis. And the man hasn’t really changed his rhetoric since then.
Truths about the unbelievable state of the Russian Armed Forces, about insane treatment of D/LPR mobilised men thrown in like meat to plug holes in the Russian defence/offence, about the lack of essential supplies from medicines to reconnaissance drones, about failures of the first stage of the operation, about stalling of the second stage, about unexpected resistance of Ukrainians… more and more of these truths emerge in regular comms and get picked up even by those who a month or two ago were vehemently proclaiming successes of the Russian offensive.

A group of Ukrainian, Dutch Army, and German Heer IT specialists, as well as Ukrainian translators and the companies that built the PzH 2000 got together and adapted the PzH 2000's software.
He didn't give specifics, but it seems that not only was the software translated, but also updated to tie into the Ukrainian GIS Arta artillery management system. This should allow Ukrainian PzH 2000 to fire at the russians within seconds of a target being spotted.
This will also make it much easier to deliver additional PzH 2000 to Ukraine in the future.

ich hab echt zu wenig infos, wie wir alle wahrscheinlich. aber wenn dem wirklich so ist, dann ists megapeinlich für deutschland. also aus moralischer sicht. es ist halt der spagat zwischen energieversorgung/wirtschaft/verantwortung gegenüber der versorgung deutschlands und der verantwortung in der verteidigung der souveränität europas bzw einzelstaaten.
mir geht das echt auf den sack. ich sag das aus meiner sichtweise, wohlwissend, dass da mehr zu beachten ist, aber wenn fast ganz europa, fast die ganze welt, unterstützt und mehr liefert, als man je erwartet hat, dann bin ich wirklich angepisst, dass deutschland nicht das liefert, was möglich wäre.

Das ist mal echt interessant. Das war irgendwie mein Bedenken, dass man das volle Potenzial der PzH2000 nicht nutzen kann, weil man das System nicht richtig integrieren kann. Kann man aber! Nice!
