Indeed.

| A handwritten inscription was found in one of the children's shoes bearing the child's first and last name, the marking of the transport and the child's registration number on the transport list (Ba 541).
Amos Steinberg was born on 26 June 1938. He lived in Prague. On 10 August 1942, he was incarcerated along with his parents Ludwig (Ludvík) and Ida in the Theresienstadt Ghetto near Prague. They were all deported to Auschwitz. | |

| In July, we informed about a very emotional discovery in one of the children’s shoes. A handmade inscription was found in it bearing the name of the child to which it belonged - Amos Steinberg. Following further detailed research in the Collections, it turned out that there was a suitcase at the Memorial, which most likely belonged to the boy’s father. | |

| After some extraordinary detective work by the Auschwitz Museum, a briefcase at the memorial has been linked to a child’s shoe which was identified in July as belonging to a little boy called Amos Steinberg. The briefcase, according to the museum, almost certainly belonged to the boy’s father — and he survived the Holocaust. | |
| This summer, members of the Steinberg family, who live in Israel, contacted the Auschwitz Museum and sent additional biographical information and some family photographs. | |

So weit so gut.

http://www.righto.com/2011/07/cells-are-very-fast-and-crowded-places.html
| Mitochondria have many strange features - such as their own DNA separate from the cell's - but one of their strangest features is they use electric motors to produce ATP. Mitochondria use the energy from oxidizing food to pump protons out of the cell, creating a voltage of 170mV across the cell. This voltage causes a complex enzyme to spin, and the mechanical energy of this spinning enzyme creates the ATP molecules that energize the rest of the cell. | |
