| | Der britische Vizepremierminister und Justizminister Dominic Raab ist am Freitag nach einer unabhängigen Untersuchung formeller Beschwerden über sein Verhalten zurückgetreten.
Damit scheidet nach dem Rücktritt von Minister Gavin Williamson nun das nächste Mitglied der Regierung wegen Mobbingvorwürfen aus. Raab stand wie Williams wegen seines Umgangs mit Mitarbeitern in der Kritik.
In einem Brief an Premierminister Rishi Sunak, der auf Twitter veröffentlicht wurde, sagte Raab, dass die Untersuchung einen gefährlichen Präzedenzfall geschaffen habe, dass er die Regierung aber weiterhin unterstützen werde.
Der 49-jährige Raab hatte die Vorwürfe zurückgewiesen, er habe seine Mitarbeiter herabgesetzt und erniedrigt. Er sagte, er habe sich »jederzeit professionell verhalten«, aber er werde zurücktreten, falls die Mobbingvorwürfe aufrechterhalten werden sollten. | |

Die Top 5% der Vermögenden in GB sehen ein, dass sie etwas ärmer werden (so 50-75%) und das freiwerdende Kapital kann dann genutzt werden.

Da parallel auch Unternehmen Preistreiberei vorgeworfen wird: Könnte tatsächlich stimmen. Die Wohlfahrtsverluste des Austritts müssen sich ja irgendwo materialisieren. Der Bericht kam zu dem Ergebnis, dass er zwar gegen den Regierungskodex für öffentliche Ernennungen verstoßen hat, indem er einen potenziellen Interessenkonflikt nicht offengelegt hat. Dieser Verstoß hätte aber nicht zwangsläufig seine Ernennung ungültig gemacht. | |

Vor allem ist es bullshit. Große Unternehmen werfen Rekordgewinn ab aber der Pöbel soll bitte einsehen, dass er jetzt ärmer ist.

Der Fairness halber muss man erwähnen das er auch Preissteigerungen ablehnt. Geht also schon in beide Richtungen. Wen sie Situation jetzt aber härter trifft, Bevölkerung oder Unternehmen, müsste man halt untersuchen. Ich befürchte aber, dass das Ergebnis eindeutig ist.
